Applications

We have a variety of software downloads available for our cameras. Some camera lines will require the use specific software to work. Applications such as AmScope and IS Capture are used as the imaging environment, complete with development and analytic tools. Please download the appropriate application for your camera:

* UVC cameras work with newer "plus" versions of Mac software, but may not work on older software versions for Mac.

Drivers

Driver software is used by a computer's operating system to define how the camera works, and how applications can use it. While applications such as AmScope and IS Listen have built-in camera support, the application's camera definitions may not be complete or up-to-date. For some camera models, we may supply a "generic" driver, in case the operating system has trouble identifying the camera. We may also have drivers labeled as "DirectShow" or "TWAIN," which allows some cameras to work with 3rd-party applications, such as FFmpeg and VLC.
