The Higher the Magnification - The More Detail You'll See

Magnification is the ability of your microscope to make small objects seem larger. As the magnification increases the area being viewed will be decrease is size but the detail of the area being viewed will improve.

Amscope microscopes come with multiple magnifications to aid you in finding the proper magnification for viewing each specimen.

Camera Connection Types

When comparing 2.0 and 3.0 there are few major differences. First the transfer rates. USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps - that's 10 times faster.

Camera Resolution

The most important factor in ensuring successful microscopic imaging is choosing the appropriate optics and camera for your application that gives you more data and higher image quality. When selecting a microscope camera, it is best to base your decision on the most important requirements for your microscopic observation.

Key Features

  • 3.5X-90X super widefield continuous stereo zoom magnification power
  • Dual halogen illuminations with individual adjustable intensity
  • 6-1/2inch (165mm) long working distance and 2-3/8inch (60mm) large field of view with 0.5X auxiliary objective lens
  • Two pairs of 30mm super widefield eyepieces 10X and 20X
  • Adjustable interpupillary distance with diopter adjustment on both ocular tubes

Product description

This is a 3.5X-90X zoom stereo trinocular microscope. This trinocular microscopy comes with super widefield optics and versatile illumination system that provides both incident (top) and transmitted (bottom) lights. The incident light is used for the observation of three-dimensional objects due to shining down onto the objects. The transmitted light is used for the inspection of the objects that allow light to get through them like diamonds. With the 0.5X barlow lens, the working distance can be as long as 6-1/2'' (165mm), and the field of view can be as large as 2-3/8'' (60mm) in diameters. It easy to connect USB digital camera (sold separately) to record what you see in the microscope and saving it into your computer as a picture or a video. The stereo microscope is useful for many applications (biological research laboratories, engravers, watchmakers, gemologists, collectors, jewelers and anyone in electronic industry).

Summary of Features:

  • Head: 45 degrees inclined 360 degrees rotatable trinocular
